German in the UK

Maggie's entry has won her 2 return train tickets to Germany and accomodation, courtesy of Deutsche Bahn and German Embassy London.

Congratulations to our winner, Maggie, whose creative translation of "Alles hat ein Ende, nur die Wurst hat zwei" earned her first prize.
Maggie is an assistant Director of a 6th Form College in Birmingham.
"I studied German at University many years ago (let’s just say I did my year abroad in Berlin while the Wall was still up!) but have spent most of my professional career teaching French. I’m now teaching more German and am always interested in websites that can both be a stimulus to my students and/or help me brush up and keep up to date with German language and culture, which is how I came to be on the Think German website."
