Do you have a project you would like to feature on the Think German website?
Children from Year 3 at King's School Rochester visited the 'Deutsche Schule' in Richmond. They joined their German peers in two lessons and made an excellent effort in putting their language skills to the test. They also had a look around the school with the headmistress, Frau Roth-Junkermann, where they had the chance to ask lots of questions. The children were also invited to stay for lunch which they all enjoyed very much. Children at King's start learning German at nursery level and this cultural experience was a great way of enhancing their education.
Mariam and Tambetabi wrote: "We loved our visit!" and Isabel said: "I have loved the German School and really want to go again." The trip was clearly a great success.
