Everybody knows Colombo and Inspector Morse, but have you heard of Tatort, Polizeiruf 110 or Kommisar Rex?

Germany has a rich tradition of exciting detective series, full of mystery and murder! To introduce their pupils to this cultural treasure trove, foreign language assistants Jana Pflaeging and Aileen Plückhahn organised a Krimiabend ('detective story evening') for two London schools.

Highlights included a costume murder mystery role play, a special German buffet and, of course, a screening of the TV detectives in action.
